New Zealand flights Canberrans itching for a trade of scenery may want to cross the trench as soon as July, with an ordeal flight between Canberra and New Zealand floated as the out let of the Trans-Tasman travel bubble.
The proposed route among Canberra and Wellington has been touted for a July 1 take-off, with the final decision within thehands of Australian and New Zealand governments and health officials.
Interstate journey between Canberra, South Australia and Tasmania may also beon the cards for July, following discussion between the country and territory governments.
Canberra Airport chief govt Stephen Byron statedthe two capitals have been the safest towns to begin an incremental go back to air journey.

“People that have misplaced their jobs on both aspects of the Tasman and want to re-organise their residing arrangements … Then there may be the holidaymakers.”
Mr Byron said flight costs must be “enormously normal” and no longer inflated because of the pandemic.
“Indeed you want to make it aggressive and attractive,” he stated.
Chief Minister Andrew Barr stated the test flight changed into an “crucial first step” to rebuild Canberra’s aviation and tourism industries.
