In an update, the fire service said: “There are now twelve fire engines and around 80 firefighters in attendance at this fire at a mixed use building.

“One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders is being used at the scene as an observation tower to provide the Incident Commander with an aerial view of the fire.”
