Black Sabbath have just announced some of the most exciting news in metal history: They are back – for one day only.
The rockers, who are fronted by Ozzy Osbourne, are putting on an epic gig this summer with the Brum band’s original line-up, including Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.
This incredible, one-night-only of entertainment is being called the Back To The Beginning show, and will be held at Birmingham’s Villa Park.
Taking place on July 5, 2025, the band will also be supported by some of rock and metal’s biggest and best names.
Speaking excitedly about the upcoming event, Ozzy Osbourne said: “It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning… time for me to give back to the place where I was born. How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.” (sic)
The line-up includes Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, and Lamb of God – just to name a few.
On top of that, there are members of some of the world’s biggest bands performing, as well, including Fred Durst (from Limp Bizkit), Vessel II (Sleep Token), Jonathan Davis (Korn) and loads more.
