A young girl suffered severe injuries after falling off a zipline while on holiday in India with her family. Trisha Bijwe, 12, has been undergoing treatment in the hospital since the incident in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, on June 8. While on the zipline, the rope connected to her harness snapped, sending her plummeting nearly 50 feet to the ground.

She suffered multiple fractures to her leg and was initially treated at a local hospital in Manali before being transferred to Chandigarh. Trisha is now receiving treatment at a private hospital in Nagpur, her home town, where doctors continue to monitor her condition.

Her family claimed the zipline facility lacked essential safety measures and failed to provide immediate assistance following the accident.
