Aldi giving free £50 to select shoppers every day in July and August | UK | News

Aldi is giving away free £50 vouchers to select shoppers every day in July and August. The freebie comes as part of the budget supermarket’s new Summer Support Scheme to help support families in making their money go further. The scheme will see Aldi give away a £50 voucher every day for the next two months to coincide with the six-week school summer holidays across England, Scotland and Wales. But only one shopper will receive the £50 freebie each day as customers will have to enter into a draw and winners will be chosen at random.

To be in with a chance of winning, shoppers need to submit their name and email address to SummerSupportScheme@aldi.co.uk, and Aldi’s judges will randomly select seven entrants each week during the giveaway.

Each winner will receive a £50 Aldi voucher to spend in any UK store, with a total of 62 prizes up for grabs throughout July and August

The prize will be sent to the email address that customers used to enter the competition and will be in the form of a digital voucher.

The vouchers can then be used to stock up on whatever items shoppers need in store, from snacks and cupboard essentials, to toys and garden activities from Aldi’s Specialbuy aisle.

The giveaway will start at 00.01am on July 1 and will close at 23.59pm on August 31, with the last week’s winners contacted by September 5, 2025.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “The school holidays can put extra pressure on finances, especially when it comes to keeping children fed, entertained and active during the six-week break.

“As the UK’s cheapest supermarket, we don’t believe in paying a premium for healthy, quality food and we’ll always do what we can to support parents in making their money go further.”

Aldi said the latest initiative forms part of its wider commitment to supporting families by providing affordable, quality products for parents.

Most recently, the supermarket committed to freezing the price of its Mamia First Infant Formula for the remainder of 2025 as formula prices remain at historic highs across the market.
