Morrisons makes 1-hour change in more than 400 stores in October | UK | News
Morrisons has launched a new scheme where customers can get up to 30 items delivered in as little as 60 minutes. The service, called Morrisons Now, allows customers to get fresh food delivered in as little as an hour.
It will be available in 159 stores now with a full rollout across 420 stores by the end of October. The supermarket says the service is designed for speed and convenience, helping with forgotten ingredients or last minute cravings.
From today, shoppers living close to one of the participating stores can visit Morrisons.com or the Morrisons Groceries app, select Morrisons Now, and order up to 30 items.
The service will soon be available nationwide. Customers can track their order in real time from store to door, which will be fulfilled by one of Morrisons delivery partners on a courier bike or car.
Customers can easily shop from their home delivery favourites, use ‘Instant Shop’ to build their order quickly, and have all their addresses and payment details saved and ready to go.
Plus, they can continue to earn More Card points and access Morrisons More Card promotions as usual.
Charlotte Exell, Group Online Director for Morrisons said: “We are delighted to offer this service to our customers across the country, supporting them with fresh food delivered fast.
“We know that life is busy and Morrisons Now is here to make those everyday moments easier, delivering what you need, within as little as an hour.”
The new service is available now with a delivery fee of £4.50 and a minimum order value of £15.
With growing demand for delivery, the supermarket’s new idea will no doubt be taken up by shoppers keen to get their groceries without having to leave the house.
