Black Friday 2025 doesn’t officially get underway until next month, but that’s not stopping one UK retailer from launching some early eye-catching deals. Currys has just announced the start of its big sale event, with the online retailer promising ‘lowest ever’ prices across a swathe of popular devices. If that wasn’t enough to tickle those tech taste buds, there’s also good news for anyone wanting to get themselves an iPhone, with Currys offering money off a number of refurbished models.

These smartphones are not new, but they have been given the all clear by tech experts at Currys and also come with a full one-year warranty.

If you want a new iPhone 17, it will set you back £799 from stores including Apple and Argos, but Currys has these refurbished devices starting from just £219.

That low price is for the iPhone 11, which first launched all the way back in 2019. Although it is six years old, it remains part of Apple’s iOS software programme, which means it still gets regular updates.

The iPhone 11 gets a 6.1-inch screen, dual-lens camera and A13 Bionic processor, plus it was one of the first devices to switch to the Face ID fingerprint scanner.

Now, we don’t recommend this device if you want the very best experience, as the iPhone 11 can’t keep pace with Apple’s latest batch of devices. Currys is also very clear that it has been used and might not be in mint condition. So, once again, if you are looking for that exciting box-fresh experience, we don’t recommend going for a refurbished phone.

However, if you are looking for a much cheaper way to own an iPhone, then this second-hand sale certainly makes things look a little more affordable.
