Three Welsh destinations have secured spots in the top 20 finest locations across the entire UK for  New Year’s Eve celebrations. According to the global travel platform Big 7 Travel, these three Welsh venues rank among Britain’s premier destinations for gathering with friends and revelling on New Year’s Eve. The travel website compiles its annual ranking in the lead-up to the festive season, drawing upon feedback from its extensive social media community while factoring in scores for event diversity, street celebrations, accessibility and affordability.

Edinburgh claims the summit of the rankings, being hailed as “the ultimate place to be for a New Year’s celebration”. Regarding the Welsh inclusions, one destination has secured a top 10 position, while two others have earned places within the top 20.

The Welsh locations featured in the rankings are listed below:

Fishguard, Pembrokeshire – 18th place overall in the UK
