Approximately 60 firefighters, spread across eight engines, are currently battling the inferno on Halesowen Road in Morden, south London. The fire has reportedly engulfed the ground floor, first floor and roof of the property, The Mirror reports.

The London Fire Brigade received the initial call alerting them to the incident at 4.04am, prompting swift action from crews based in Sutton, Mitcham, Wimbledon, New Malden, Wallington, Tooting and Norbury who rushed to the scene at the end-of-terrace house.
