Those who have seen the film have been full of praise. One person said: “The best film I have ever watched. It’s utterly mesmerising and will keep you glued to the screen from start to finish and once in a while you will get an irresistible urge to rewatch this masterpiece.”

“The story is one of the best I’ve seen, it makes Gladiator look trivial, notwithstanding the family tragedies at the heart of that classic. This could be my new favourite film.”

A third wrote: “High quality all the way. Excellent actors and touching story. The best movie I have seen in a long time.”

Someone else commented: “I don’t know how to express with words how beautiful the cinematography is in this movie.

“I kept forgetting that it was a Danish/Nordic movie. I wanted it to be a series, and stay in the universe! It’s definitely worth watching. I have nothing bad to say.”
