My favourite air fryer just got a lot more affordable but rare deal won’t last long

I’ve got to be honest, I’ve never been a huge fan of air fryers. They take up way too much worktop space, often look pretty ugly and are usually far too big to tuck away in a cupboard. For those reasons, I’ve stuck to more traditional ways of cooking the Sunday roast and rustling up a quick evening meal. However, my reluctance to own an air fryer changed last year after testing the Crispi from the cooking team at Ninja.

As you can read in my full Ninja Crispi review, I really liked and enjoyed using this more portable kitchen accessory. It cooked my chips to perfection and added a pleasing crunch to my treat of Scampi. One of the biggest bonuses of the Crispi is its design, which includes a main cooking head and two glass bowls for air frying. It’s far more appealing to look at than a standard air fryer, and the modular design makes it easy to hide away after it’s been used.

Cleaning it is a piece of cake, and the glass bowls can be used to store food after it’s been cooked, which saves on some washing up.

Of course, it can’t match a dual tray air fryer, which can cook two things at once, and the settings are pretty basic with four options that include Air Fry, Roast, Keep Warm and Recrisp. That means there are no dedicated temperature controls.

When I reviewed it last March, it was also pretty expensive, with the Crispi priced at £179.

Luckily, that price has now tumbled with Amazon dropping things to just £99 for a limited Time.

That deal is based on the Sage version. Those wanting the Stone model I tested will need to pay £129.

This is a good deal. Other stores, including Ninja and Argos, are both showing the Sage Crispi for £129.99, so Amazon is offering a decent saving.

Just remember that this is a limited-time discount and there’s no word on when it will end.
