Thierry Henry’s insane body transformation at 48 as Arsenal hero shares secrets | Football | Sport

Thierry Henry has revealed the secret behind his remarkable body transformation that has drawn praise from his followers on social media. Arsenal legend Henry was a slender, lightning-quick striker during his playing career, but he’s now in phenomenal shape at the age of 48 with a ripped physique.

The Frenchman is frequently spotted, smartly dressed, working as a pundit for US broadcaster CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage. His most recent managerial position was with France’s under-21s before he guided them to silver at the 2024 Olympic Games. On Saturday, Henry posted a video of himself and partner Andrea Rajacic completing a workout to his 4.5 million followers on Instagram.

The former Arsenal star, donning a 10kg weighted vest, recorded himself performing various exercises. Henry also shared two shirtless photographs, displaying his sculpted physique and chiselled abs. As the caption, the 1998 World Cup winner wrote: “HOUR session with MY PARTNER IN CRIME and a 10kg vest on.”

He then disclosed his three stringent principles to achieving fitness: “WORK HARD, EAT WELL, NO SUGAR! ! !”

Henry’s followers were astonished. They included Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe, who replied: “Ah yeah, I caught the old man.”

Former footballers Tim Cahill, Louis Saha and Axel Witsel, as well as ex-boxer Tony Bellew, were among others to praise he former forward.

Beyond the gym, Henry revealed last year that he remains uncertain whether he’ll return to management, having previously overseen Monaco and MLS outfit Montreal after hanging up his boots in 2014.

The 48-year-old confessed on the Stick to Football podcast: “It would have to be something stupid [good] for me to stop what I’m doing right now, and the balance that I have.

“What do you have as a coach to protect you once you’ve signed? You need to protect yourself before and I’m not in a situation where I can pick and choose where I can go, I’m not at that level.

“I’ve analysed the life that I have now and need to ensure that I don’t make a mistake not only for me, but for my family. Before the Olympic Games, because I didn’t think about what I just said, I would have taken anything because I needed to prove to myself that I could lead a team.”
