The US President bragged about a CNN poll that showed him with a 100% approval rating among MAGA supporters. A reporter asked the world leader: “Our polls will show you that MAGA is essentially unified behind you when it comes to Iran. There have been reports that the United States might be sending 2,500 marines to the Middle East. Are you concerned that a move like that can potentially change the unity?”

Trump replied: “Well, I don’t know. I seem to have great support because CNN came out with a poll today that I’m at 100 per cent, and they said they’ve never seen a poll like that.”

He then repeated himself, adding: “The CNN poll said I’m at 100 per cent and they’ve never seen that before, which is an honour. I was impressed that CNN would do that. But as far as troops are concerned, I cannot tell you what we are doing.”

Viewers flocked to X in droves to comment on the clip, with one person writing: “Is he OK?” Another added: “Quick, someone give him another cognitive test. I’m not sure he would be able to identify what an elephant looks like now.”

Meanwhile, a third remarked: “The sad effects of advanced cognitive decline.” Someone else penned: “He’s completely gone berserk! Take that man out of the WH in a straitjacket already!”

Others noted how Trump has taken a massive U-turn on CNN, having previously branded the channel “fake news” on several occasions. Someone wrote: “So now CNN isn’t fake news?? What a hypocrite.”

Another claimed: “The current CNN ‘Poll of Polls’ average places his general approval at 38 per cent and disapproval at 59 per cent. Nowhere near to his claim of 100 per cent.
