All eyes were on Harriett Sperling this this Easter Sunday as she stepped out in a radiant look for one of the most traditional moments in the royal calendar. Over the past year, since stepping on the royal circuit with Peter Phillips, she has become known for her effortlessly elegant style.

And today was no different – wearing a soft pale spring blue, she put her best fashion foot forward, delivering a look that felt perfectly in tune with the season. And much to the delight of royal fans, her 15-year-old daughter Georgina, was also by her side.

Harriett braved the blustery conditions, with Storm Dave sweeping across the UK, proving once again she knows how to balance style with practicality. Even in unpredictable weather, her look remained elegant and perfectly in tune with the season.

Harriett was joined by her fiancé Peter Phillips, as they attended the annual Easter Sunday Matins service alongside King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The couple, who are set to marry on June 6 this year, appeared in high spirits as they arrived together.

Harriett appeared to coordinate beautifully with her future mother-in-law, stepping out in soft blue as the Princess Royal opted for a traditional coat dress and matching millinery in a chic turquoise hue.

Noticeably absent from the gathering was Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, as members of the Royal Family came together at St George’s Chapel for the long-standing service, a key date in the royal diary.

Members of the Royal Family gathered at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, for the long-standing service, which remains a key date in the royal diary.

After the service, the Royal Family usually heads back to Windsor Castle for a more private Easter lunch steeped in tradition.

Roast lamb is typically served as the centrepiece, followed by afternoon tea – often including chocolate treats from royal warrant holders such as Charbonnel et Walker.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were also in attendance with their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

This marked their first appearance at the service in three years. The family had previously spent Easter at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, as Catherine recovered privately at home following her cancer diagnosis.

This allowed them to step away from the formalities to enjoy a more relaxed break, often filled with outdoor activities.

Speaking on a podcast in 2020, Catherine shared that family time is typically spent “outside in the countryside,” adding that they often end up “all filthy dirty.”

However, four family members were notably absent this year. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson remain outside the royal fold following their links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, while their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, are understood to have made alternative plans.
