Harry Styles adds surprise gig to summer line-up | Music | Entertainment
Harry Styles is working hard to make sure this year is the best of his career yet. The former One Direction star has just confirmed a brand new gig for his fans this summer. The British icon was recently announced as the curator behind The Southbank Centre’s Meltdown Festival. The event will kick off on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and run through to Monday, June 22, 2026. During this elongated festival experience, a multitude of artists and musicians will be performing at the iconic London venue.
Styles has revealed the likes of Yussef Dayes, Devonte Hynes Ensemble, Bar Italia, and many more will be performing across the month. But, at the top of the bill, is Harry Styles himself. The Watermelon Sugar singer will be playing an intimate, one-off gig to headline the modestly-sized festival. Considering this venue has a full capacity of around 2,700, this will be the smallest show Styles will have played in many years.
At the time of writing, Harry Styles’ one-off gig at The Southbank Centre has not been given a date.
What’s more, the ticket release has not yet been detailed, either. So fans keen to get involved will need to keep an eye on the star’s social media to get involved.
Thankfully, this isn’t the only concert he’ll be playing in the UK this year. As fans are no doubt aware, Harry Styles will be playing 12 enormous shows at London’s Wembley Stadium beginning in June.
