Google has issued a new alert for Chrome users with millions urged to check their settings without delay. “The Stable channel has been updated to 145.0.7632.116/117 for Windows/Mac and 144.0.7559.116 for Linux, which will roll out over the coming days/weeks,” Google explained in a blog post.

“We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever reaching the stable channel.”

The three bugs include

• High CVE-2026-3061: Out of bounds read in Media.

• High CVE-2026-3062: Out of bounds read and write in Tint.

• High CVE-2026-3063: Inappropriate implementation

News of this release comes just days after Google also fixed another very serious bug.

This flaw, which was given the dreaded “zero-day” rating, could allow hackers to access browsers and run dangerous code without the users ever knowing anything was wrong.

“Google has issued a patch for a high‑severity Chrome zero‑day, tracked as CVE‑2026‑2441, a memory bug in how the browser handles certain font features that attackers are already exploiting,” the team at Malwarebytes explained.

Follow these instructions to update Chrome.

To update manually, click the More menu (three dots), then go to Settings > About Chrome. If an update is available, Chrome will start downloading it. Restart Chrome to complete the update, and you’ll be protected against these vulnerabilities.
