Antler has kicked off the spring holiday season early with a sale that can get you up to 40% off a new suitcase. The sale spans a range of luggage types, including larger hold bags, rucksacks, and holdalls. But if you’re looking for an investment that can save you money in the long run, a sturdy cabin bag might be the way to go.

Travelling with just hand luggage is a fantastic way to cut out the cost of paying for a checked suitcase, but with airline baggage allowance rules to abide by, picking the right bag is essential. We’ve scoured the Antler sale to find some of the best discounts on cabin bags currently included in the sale that fit within the measurements for hand luggage set out by the likes of easyJet, Jet2 and British Airways. They’ll also fit Ryanair Priority luggage sizing.

One of the perks of Antler luggage is that each bag comes with a lifetime warranty, meaning you can stretch the cost for years to come (just make sure to register it online within 30 days of purchase).

Antler hasn’t announced how long the sale will run, but it will be for a limited time, like most of its sales. So, if a deal piques your interest, it’s worth snapping it up before it’s too late. 

The first pick from the sale is the Brixham cabin bag, measuring 35 x 55 x 20 cm. It is the perfect fit for easyJet, Jet2, and British Airways’ free hand luggage allowance. If you’re flying with Ryanair and are willing to fork out for Priority, the Brixham will also meet their large cabin bag allowance. The lightweight suitcase weighs just 1.9 kg, giving you plenty of leftover weight to pack all of your holiday essentials (and maybe a few souvenirs, too).

The bag has a five-star rating on the Antler website. Those who have left reviews highlighted how “lightweight and manoeuvrable” the suitcase is. 

The suitcase is discounted from £170 to £102 as part of the sale. Unlike some of the bags in Antler’s range, it doesn’t make a statement, but it is versatile and comes in either black or grey. It features 360-spinner wheels for smooth transportation, an adjustable rolling handle, and a lightweight grab handle to make lifting it easy. 

There is a built-in TSA-approved combination lock for added security, which is helpful if you ever want to check it in when travelling internationally. 

According to Antler, the suitcase features a deep internal and spacious packing compartment, including internal pockets, along with an external zipper pocket for items you need to grab quickly.

The Lincoln Cabin bag is another hand luggage item in the Antler sale that will fit British Airways and Jet2’s free allowances. It will also fit Ryanair Priority, bit it is just a bit too big for easyJet’s free hand luggage size. The bag measures 55 x 40 x 20 cm and, though it is a sturdy hard shell, weighs 2.5 kg, so there is still plenty of room to pack for a short trip.

The suitcase is currently discounted from £160 to £112. If you love a little bit of colour or to show off a bit of your personality at the airport, then this is a good fit since it comes in a range of shades (though only the white and mint green shades are included in the sale).

Inside, you’ll find a large main packing area, a zipped compartment and two storage pockets. Like most Antler’s cabin bags, the Lincoln has 360-spinner wheels, which means you can glide through the airport with ease. There’s also an adjustable handle and TSA combination lock.
