Bitcoin LIVE: Crypto tipped to soar above £85,000 in post-Trump tariffs recovery | Personal Finance | Finance
Bitcoin will soar to a value of $110,000 (£85,000) despite the recent turbulence following Donald Trump’s tariffs, an expert says.
Quinn Thompson, the founder and chief investment officer at crypto hedge fund Lekker Capital, made the prediction on X as he addressed scepticism surrounding crypto.
US President Trump sparked the biggest crash in the history of cryptocurrency, with more than $1.3million (£1million) wiped from the market since his return to the White House on January 20.
Bitcoin is now back to its value of November 2024, when Mr Trump won the US election.
This comes after the President promised to implement pro-crypto policies when in office.
