British Airways is launching an incredible offer to help Britons escape the winter gloom, with flights to two stunning holiday destinations available for just £2.

Sun-seekers could fly to Madrid, Spain’s vibrant capital renowned for its iconic attractions and lush green spaces, or to Toulon in France, a Mediterranean coastal gem boasting one of Europe’s most breathtaking harbours, for merely £2. The catch is that these bargain flights are exclusively available through Avios redemption and restricted to British Airways Club members only.

Nevertheless, for eligible members, it represents an exceptional opportunity with departures operating from London City Airport to both Madrid and Toulon. The prospect of azure skies, glorious sunshine and stunning scenery at either destination proves particularly enticing during Britain’s dreary weather conditions, especially when the cost could be less than your morning latte.

Bookings are currently open, with fares beginning at just £2 plus 21,500 Avios for Toulon, and £2 plus 28,000 Avios for Madrid. Additionally, the deal includes 23kg of checked luggage allowance, enhancing the value proposition further.

Toulon represents a fresh addition to British Airways’ network launching this summer, presenting an excellent chance to experience the charming French port city and its captivating waterfront. In contrast, Madrid has remained a longstanding route for the British carrier, yet continues to attract visitors with its world-class museums, dynamic culinary landscape and stunning architectural heritage.

The return flight from Madrid to London will mark its 50th dedicated Avios-Only flight.

Colm Lacy, British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, stated: “We’re excited to release these latest Avios-Only flights to two top leisure destinations for summer. These flights are always incredibly popular, and we’re delighted to give our loyal customers even more opportunities to enjoy the benefits of The British Airways Club.”
