A busy road in Manchester has been shut off by police following a crash on Saturday evening. Emergency services are on scene at Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton where, according to witnesses, an air ambulance arrived and has since left. 

Images show ambulance crews and police in attendance, with a damaged vehicle and bike in the middle of the road. One local resident said drivers who want to travel down the road are being turned around, Manchester Evening News reports.
