Christmas Day is officially just one day away, and no doubt everyone up and down the country is teeming with excitement. Hopefully everyone has managed to grab everything and anything on their shopping list, as Christmas Eve may be your last chance to do so.

While some supermarkets will be closing early or extending their hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day will look a little different. All supermarkets have confirmed that stores will be closed on December 25 across the UK. Find information about your local supermarket below.

Aldi

On Christmas Eve, Aldi stores will close at the earlier time of 6pm and will remain closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day to give colleagues a well-deserved break.

Asda

All of Asda’s stores will be closed on Christmas Day.

Tesco

All Tesco stores and petrol filling stations will be closed. 

Morrisons 

Morrisons confirmed its stores will be closed on Christmas Day. However, Morrisons Daily stores will be open on Christmas Day.

Lidl

Lidl confirmed all of its stores in Great Britain will be closed on Christmas Day.

Sainsbury’s

All Sainsbury’s stores will be closed on Christmas Day. 

Waitrose

Waitrose confirmed stores are closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

M&S

M&S stores will be closed on Christmas Day.
