Brits in Akrotiri, Cyprus, have been told to take shelter as Iran continues its missile attacks in the Middle East.
The alert, issued at 12:22, ordered residents to stay where they were until authorities provided further instructions. People were advised to move away from windows and take cover behind or beneath sturdy furniture to reduce the risk of injury from blasts or shattered glass.
Cypriot government spokesman Constantinos Letymbiotis said authorities had investigated information indicating a suspected object was on course for the Bases, but nothing was found and the alert was called off.
