Trump credited his son’s towering height to the meals prepared by his wife Melania’s late mother, Amalija Knavs.

Trump said: “Great people, great parents to all of us, really. Great parents, but also to Barron. Boy, did she take care of Barron?”.

He added: “That’s how he got so tall, he only ate her food. I said you’re gonna be a basketball player. He said, well ‘I like soccer dad’, actually. I thought… at your height I like basketball better but you can’t talk them into everything.'”.

The father-of-five described his youngest child as a “special boy.”

Barron has shown a keen interest in football and the English Premier League, particularly current league leaders Arsenal.

In 2018, the young lad invited England and Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney to the White House when Rooney was playing for MLS side DC United, where Barron had previously played in the youth ranks.

Barron completed his studies at Oxbridge Academy in May 2024, and embarked on his academic journey at New York University’s Stern School in September 2024, having just finished his first year.

Considering Barron’s towering height, his parents have pondered over a possible career in professional sports for him.

In a chat with Megyn Kelly, Trump portrayed Barron as a “good-looking kid” who might tread the same path as his father.

Recently, an astrologer analysed Barron’s birth chart, indicating he will venture into business and real estate, akin to his father’s profession.
