Donald Trump threatens to assassinate Ayatollah Khamenei in WW3 madness | World | News

Donald Trump has taken to Truth Social to issue a warning to Iran’s Supreme Leader as the conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate. The US President has repeatedly called on Iran and Israel to “make a deal” in a bid to de-escalate tensions between the two which have led to missile strikes over the last five days.

Speaking on his social media platform, the US leader appeared to up the ante by claiming that the intelligence services know the location of the Iranian leader, whilst ominously claiming that they will not kill him “at least for now. He said: “We know exactly where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.

“But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

He posted minutes later with a post of two words which read: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”

Trump has grown increasingly exasperated with his administration’s inability to bring hostilities to an end, posting this morning that Iran “should have signed the “deal” I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life.”

Israel launched preemptive strikes on Iran last week claiming that it was necessary to disrupt Tehran’s burgeoning nuclear weapon production.

Speaking following the missile attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netenyahu said that the time had come for his country to stand up against an “evil and oppressive regime”.

Reports at the weekend suggested that the United States had vetoed an Israeli plan to assassinate the Iranian leader.

According to an anonymous official the Israeli government had informed the Trump administration about their feasible plan to eliminate Khamenei shortly following his inauguration.

However it is understood that the Trump administration disagreed with the plan, fearing that it would increase tensions in the region and would have unpredictable consequences.

But Trump’s latest posts serve as a direct warning to the Iranian regime that the threat of assassination has not yet been taken off of the table and represent a significant milestone in the conflict.
