Lewis Hamilton has stated, in no uncertain terms, that Max Verstappen ‘will not slip up’ in his bid to win a third consecutive world title this season.
The Red Bull star got his title defence off to the perfect start in Bahrain two weeks ago by coming away with the win.
Meanwhile, the team’s nearest challengers, Ferrari and Mercedes, are each battling their own respective problems.
“I don’t think he will slip up,” Hamilton affirmed. “He’s a World Champion, so I wouldn’t question his determination and his focus. I think he will be just as focused as ever and it’s our job to catch up.”
