Fox News descends into chaos as hosts clash over Trump ‘It’s disgusting’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Fox News’ Jesse Watters and Jessica Tarlov had a heated clash over President Donald Trump’s comments on Democrats who told members of the military they must refuse any illegal orders – with the US leader branding them “traitors” who should face execution.

The President reshared an article about a video released by Democratic lawmakers who served in the military on Thursday, writing on Truth Social: “It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand — We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET.”

He added: “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP?” He ended, writing: “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”

Addressing the matter on Fox News, Tarlov began: “How down in the dirt he gets, calling for the execution of elected officials for making a video that he didn’t like…” Her co-star Watters cut in to say: “If convicted. Execution if convicted.”

However, a furious Tarlov replied: “There was no ‘if convicted’ first of all from the thing that he said [on Truth Social]… Why are you smiling? It’s disgusting.”

Watters then told her: “Ah, you’re not that upset. Stop it, no, I’m not upset about her calling him vile, and I’m not upset about this thing.” Furious, Tarlov interjected: “Well, you should be actually. Because that actually proves…”

The clash escalated with the Watters shouting: “No! I’ll decide when I’m upset.” To which Tarlov yelled: “No, I decide. I do! They made a video saying they might ask this guy to do…”

Her colleague continued to yell over her, and she rolled her eyes, starting to point down the barrel of the camera.

He screamed: “Except when you make me upset. You are starting to make me upset…”

The six Democratic lawmakers, all of whom have served in the military or intelligence community, said in a joint statement: “No threat, intimidation, or call for violence will deter us from that sacred obligation.”

“No one has to carry out orders that violate the law or our constitution,” they stated in a video.
