Below are 10 of the most acclaimed titles available to stream for free this month.
A Man Called Otto – Channel 4
Based on Fredrik Backman’s bestselling novel A Man Called Ove, the film follows Otto Anderson, a widowed retiree whose rigid routines and short temper isolate him from the world around him. His life shifts when a lively young family moves in next door, though, drawing him into a reluctant but transformative friendship.
Tom Hanks leads as Otto, alongside Mariana Treviño, Rachel Keller and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. The film also features a performance from Truman Hanks – Tom Hanks’ real-life son – who plays Otto in flashbacks.

Atomic Blonde – ITVX
Set in Berlin during the final days before the fall of the Wall, the film is based on the graphic novel The Coldest City. In it, MI6 sends agent Lorraine Broughton to recover a list of undercover operatives. Navigating deception and espionage, she’s forced into a web of deceipt involving the KGB, the CIA and MI6 itself.
Charlize Theron stars as Lorraine, alongside James McAvoy, Sofia Boutella, John Goodman, Eddie Marsan and Toby Jones.
Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle – ITVX
In this sequel to the 2000 classic, the Angels are hired to retrieve a pair of stolen rings containing encrypted information on the FBI’s Witness Protection database. The case pulls them into a conflict involving a rebellious former Angel and a series of international threats. Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu reprise their roles, joined by Demi Moore, Justin Theroux and Bernie Mac.
Chicago – ITVX
Set in 1920s Chicago, the musical follows Roxie Hart, a housewife who dreams of stardom and lands in jail after killing her lover. She crosses paths with star Velma Kelly, and the two navigate celebrity culture, media sensationalism and courtroom theatrics.
Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere, Queen Latifah and John C. Reilly star in this celebrated musical that won six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress for Zeta-Jones.

Clueless – BBC iPlayer
Loosely based on Jane Austen’s Emma, the film centres on Cher Horowitz, a wealthy Beverly Hills teen who decides to give a makeover – and a new social life to boot – to a shy new student at her school. Her schemes end up forcing her to confront her own blind spots and prejudices.
Alicia Silverstone stars as Cher, with Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, Paul Rudd and Donald Faison completing the cast. The film became a cultural icon of the 1990s, known for its fashion, slang and teen-genre influence. In subsequent years, it even inspired a TV series and a stage musical.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – ITVX
Determined to skip school, teenager Ferris Bueller convinces his best friend and girlfriend to spend the day exploring Chicago. Meanwhile, the school principal becomes obsessed with catching him in the act.
Matthew Broderick leads the flick’s cast, which also includes Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Jennifer Grey and Jeffrey Jones. Written and directed by John Hughes, the film is considered one of his signature works and has been preserved in the U.S. National Film Registry for its cultural significance.
Prey – Channel 4
A prequel to the Predator franchise, Prey is set in 1719 in the Northern Plains. The film follows Naru, a young Comanche warrior, determined to prove her skill when a technologically advanced Predator begins hunting her tribe.
Amber Midthunder stars as Naru, supported by Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro and Stormee Kipp. Released in 2022, Prey was immediately widely acclaimed for highlighting Native American Indigenous representation.

Romeo + Juliet – BBC iPlayer
Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation transports Shakespeare’s tragedy to a modern, fictional version of Verona, where Romeo and Juliet fall in love amid violent contemporary gang rivalries.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes star in the movie, as well as Harold Perrineau, John Leguizamo, Miriam Margolyes and Pete Postlethwaite. The film won several BAFTA Awards.
The Babadook – ITVX
A widowed mother struggles with her young son’s night terrors after a sinister pop-up book appears in their home. As the child’s behaviour becomes erratic, a disturbing presence begins to manifest in their home, haunting the family. The Australian horror film became a critical success after release.
The Da Vinci Code – ITVX
In this early 2000s gem, symbologist Robert Langdon is drawn into an investigation involving a murder inside the Louvre and a trail of clues hidden in artworks. The case leads to revelations tied to secret societies and centuries-old religious theories.
Tom Hanks leads the Da Vinci Code’s cast as Langdon, alongside Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, Paul Bettany and Alfred Molina. Based on Dan Brown’s international bestseller, the film grossed more than $750 million worldwide and spawned two – less successful – sequels.
