Police swarmed a busy road near a stadium in Glasgow, Scotland, on Tuesday morning. A police cordon was set up on the junction of Garscube Road and Firhill Road, beside the Firhill Stadium in Maryhill, on April 7 after a man was assaulted.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man having been assaulted in the Maryhill area of Glasgow around 6.15am on Tuesday, 7 April, 2026.
“The man was traced on Garscube Road and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“His injuries are serious but not described as life threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
