The airport has announced that its much-loved pair of bears, Doris and Edward, will be available in shops across the airport from today.
This highly anticipated return of the pair finally arrives after the much loved-bear duo’s latest marketing campaign, which aired in October 2025. The advert includes the bears exploring the airport together before preparing for their next trip abroad, capturing the playful and heartwarming moments that make travel special.
In celebration, they have granted all passengers named Doris or Edward, travelling from Heathrow on launch day, the eglibility to claim a free cuddly friend to take on their travels!
They just need to visit the information desk in the terminal they are departing from and present a passport or boarding pass demonstrating their name.
This launch comes as Heathrow kicks off its 80th birthday celebrations, marking eight historic decades since the departure of its first commercial flight
Only a limited number of bears will be accessible for passengers and for one day only.
The bear will be available for purchase at World Duty Free and Glorious Britain stores across Heathrow, and via Reserve & Collect, at £27.99 per bear

Doris and Edward were first introduced in Heathrow’s 2016 Christmas advert, the airport is exhilarated to watch lucky passengers take these cuddly companions with them on their own journeys.
Heathrow Retail Director, Fraser Brown, said: “Bringing Doris and Edward Bair into our stores has been a real passion project for all of us at Heathrow. The response we have seen to each new chapter in their story has shown just how much passengers love them. As we celebrate 80 years of Heathrow connecting people and places, it feels like the perfect moment for them to join our passengers on new adventures.”
The pair’s travel adventures have stolen passengers’ hearts across the UK and beyond, becoming firm favourite travel companions with families.
Their touching stories of love, family and reunion have made them two of the airport’s most recognisable characters, whose journeys celebrate the joy of travel and the excitement of setting off on new adventures with loved ones.
