High street fashion brand launches closing down sale – full list of locations | UK | News

A luxury high street fashion brand has launched its closing-down sale, offering shoppers 75% off selected items. L.K. Bennet has nine stores dotted across the UK, all of which are set to shut after the company plunged into administration in January. The closing down sale began on February 26 and will continue until the stores close. A final closure date has not yet been announced, but previous reports suggest the stores could continue trading for another couple of months.

Earlier this year, the brand was acquired by the investment firm Gordon Brothers. Up to 89 employees are at risk of redundancies. The brand was founded in 1990 and sells a range of luxury womenswear and accessories, and has been worn by the likes of Catherine, Princess of Wales and Zara Tindall. The sale is taking place at all nine of L.K. Bennet’s UK stores and on its website. A spokesperson for the brand confirmed the massive closing-down sale.

“There are some truly exceptional offers available across all categories,” they said. “Everything has been reduced, including new season pieces, and with only nine stores nationwide, we anticipate strong demand and expect key styles to sell through quickly.

“We would like to thank our loyal customers for their support over the years and invite them to shop early to avoid disappointment.”

The acquisition by investment firm Gordon Brothers does not include L.K. Bennet’s physical stores, which continue to trade under administration.

Back in January, Alvarez & Marsal joint administrator and senior director John Noon said: “Our intention is to continue to trade the remaining portfolio of stores and via the concession partners for a period of up to three months.”

L.K. Bennet’s sale will take place at the following stores and concessions:
