How to watch alien conspiracy film Age of Disclosure in UK | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Enthusiasts of extra-terrestrial phenomena are buzzing following the launch of a new documentary described as “intense, dark and suspenseful”.

The Age of Disclosure has been billed as “an an explosive documentary that reveals an 80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligent life and a secret war among major nations to reverse-engineer advanced technology of non-human origin”.

The programme includes accounts from 34 US Government, military, and intelligence community insiders, whilst it “exposes the profound stakes for the future of humanity”.

Running at nearly two hours in length, the production premiered at SXSW in March 2025, and secured an Oscar-qualifying screening at American cinemas.

Nevertheless, British viewers can access the documentary, although it comes at a cost.

The production is accessible via Prime Video, though it requires payment to view.

Audiences can hire the film for £14.89, or buy it outright for £18.61.

Rental agreements allow 30 days to begin viewing the film and 48 hours to complete once begun.

Prime Video has classified the film as “intense, dark and suspenseful” in its listing.

The documentary, created by Dan Farah, puts forward a conspiracy theory suggesting that evidence concerning alien existence has been concealed by government authorities for decades.

Farah previously worked as producer on the science fiction picture Ready Player One, though academics have condemned his most recent project. Joshua Semeter, a professor of electrical engineering at Boston University who served on a NASA panel investigating classified evidence for the existence of UFOs, expressed his scepticism about the film’s allegations, stating: “I have seen no evidence that the government has been hiding anything.”

In a conversation with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, astronomer Charley Lineweaver dismissed the film as being full of “these guys who are not scientists, talking about an issue that I think is very scientific, very very interesting, but it’s just baloney”.

The film is among 201 documentaries that could be in the running for the next Oscars.
