‘I gave Andrew naked massage at Buckingham Palace – here’s who paid’ | Royal | News
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reportedly received a private naked massage in a bedroom at Buckingham Palace in the summer of 2000, it has been claimed. The former prince, who at the time was a working royal, snuck professional masseuse Monique Giannelloni into the Palace after she was recommended to him by Ghislaine Maxwell.
The masseuse claims that she had no security checks when driving into the Palace or when she was taken up to Andrew’s room. It was in this room that the former prince allegedly got naked for the massage.
Ms Giannelloni was then reportedly paid £75 bill directly from a Royal Family Coutts account.
The claims have been published in The Daily Mail, who were told by the masseuse: “I got to the room and Andrew was stood there in a robe. After saying “Hello”, he disappeared to the bathroom and came back in the nude. I averted my eyes and I was quite embarrassed.”
Ms Giannelloni said there were no issues during the massage, and described the former duke as “very nice and very gentlemanly”.
She claims she only massaged him once after being introduced to him through Maxwell, who she had previously massaged.
During this massage with Maxwell, Ms Giannelloni said Jeffrey Epstein was watching, which she found “strange”.
She also said that Maxwell told her she was going to be introduced to “someone more famous than God”, which happened not long before the masseuse received a call from one of Andrew’s staff members asking her to come to Buckingham Palace.
She told The Mail: “When I got a call from the Duke of York’s officers I immediately thought of Ghislaine because of what she had said.
“I didn’t know who Ghislaine or Epstein were.”
The Daily Mail reports that the cheque for Andrew’s massage was signed off by the former Duke’s then-personal assistant Charlotte Manley and was paid out of the Royal Family’s Coutts account.
Buckingham Palace has been approached for comment.
