Iran tears up Trump peace plan and declares ‘trust is at zero’ | World | News
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera news agency that his country had received messages from the United States and have replied to these messages where it is necessary.
“No negotiation has taken place and the reports about that is not accurate,” Mr Araghchi said.
US President Donald Trump has claimed negotitations between the countries are underway.
“The reality is that we have never had a good experience from negotiations with the US… Now this year we negotiated with the US and the result was an attack by them,” Mr Araghchi said.
“We do not have any faith that negotiations with the US will yield any results. The trust level is at zero.”
