A recruitment tycoon, who threatened to gang rape a Virgin Atlantic stewardess and set her alight, has been revealed as Salman Iftikhar, whose business collapsed with £17million in debts.
Iftikhar, who is also married to two women, told flight attendant Angie Walsh that she would be dragged out of her hotel room, gang raped and set on fire.
Passengers in first class watched in horror as Iftikhar, who was travelling with one of his wives and three children, repeatedly called Ms Walsh a “f***ing bitch” during the flight from London Heathrow to Lahore, Pakistan. The news comes the day after Birmingham Airport was forced to close.
The 37 year old later threatened to blow up the five-star hotel where the cabin crew were due to stay. However, no action was taken against him when the plane landed in Pakistan.
He was only arrested at his £900,000 detached home in Iver, Buckinghamshire, after returning from his holiday, reports the Mirror.

Finally, the thug was sentenced to 15 months in prison at Isleworth Crown Court on Tuesday after pleading guilty to making threats to kill and racially aggravated harassment. The judge took into account Iftikhar’s six previous convictions, including a common assault, describing his record as “lengthy and appalling”.
It has since been revealed that the father of three, who lived in a six-bedroom home with his wife Erum Salman, 38, had an array of luxury cars – including a Range Rover, Bentley and Rolls Royce – parked on his driveway at the time of his arrest. The couple run a London-based staffing company providing training to businesses in customer service and manufacturing.
However, those acquainted with the Buckinghamshire pair have said they had a “rocky marriage and would argue quite a bit”, even involving the police on one occasion. Social media paints a different picture, with the father seen posing in front of a Royal blue Rolls Royce with a white leather interior in one photo.

Other images show a Range Rover, Bentley and Mercedes parked outside their six-bedroom property.
Despite being a recruitment tycoon and seemingly wealthy, he had a failed business venture that left him millions of pounds in debt. The business magnate previously owned an aviation recruitment business which went into administration owing more than £11m to HMRC and £6.885m to HSBC.
The firm, known as Core Labour Supply Limited (CLSL), experienced a swift ascent, boasting a turnover of nearly £90m in 2022. This allowed Iftikhar to maintain his penchant for luxury, drawing dividends of almost £1m annually from 2018 to 2021.

However, the business was severely impacted by Covid, and two of its largest clients, accounting for 35 per cent, departed.
A neighbour of Iftikhar, who wished to remain anonymous, disclosed to the Daily Mail: “He’s definitely very flash, someone who likes to flaunt his wealth. How he made his money is beyond me, he ran a recruitment consultancy but I didn’t really tend to see him leave for work. He was around the house most of the time.”
Iftikhar broke down in tears during his sentencing on Tuesday. Ms Recorder Annabel Darlow KC stated: “Your threats to kill were made in the presence of children, specifically your three young children.

“These were threats made with significant violence. Your children had to be comforted by cabin crew staff while you made those threats.
“Ms Walsh has given up a job which she has loved for 14 months, but thankfully has now returned to work. This was a sustained incident which involved repeated racist abuse to Ms Walsh.
“You have a lengthy and appalling record of misconduct. You have not addressed the underlying cause of this for many years, that is your drug and alcohol problem. Given your lifestyle and your ability to earn money, your harm and risk has not moved. This was an appalling incident which has caused long lasting and devastating consequences.”
