Drivers were warned of traffic chaos on the M25 after a multi-vehicle crash. The incident on the anti-clockwise carriageway near Junction 5 for the M26 took place after 12.30pm.

Two lanes were shut following the collision, with long queues building on the approach and traffic stretching back to Junction 6 for Godstone Interchange, KentLive reports.

Traffic monitoring service Inrix said two vehicles were involved in the incident and emergency services have not yet confirmed whether there were any injuries.

Motorists are continuing to experience delays, with wait times of around 40 minutes after the crash, dropping to around 10 minutes by 3pm.
