Jamie Oliver is bringing the flavour back to the West End as Jamie’s Italian makes its comeback in the heart of London.

The popular celebrity chef is officially reopening the doors to his much-loved restaurant brand, with a brand-new Jamie’s Italian due to open in Leicester Square on Monday, March 9. The Leicester Square launch marks a full-circle moment for the chef, bringing Jamie’s Italian back to the capital with a menu packed with a mix of classics and fresh new dishes, all built around great ingredients and big Italian flavours at “accessible prices”.

The launch will be celebrated by offering all walk-in guests a complimentary fresh pasta dish on opening day, from 12pm until 9pm.

Eligible guests who visit the restaurant on March 9 can enjoy one fresh pasta dish for free when they buy any drink and present their redeemable voucher, available to download from the Jamie’s Italian website.

Customers can choose from any of the following freshly prepared pasta dishes as part of the deal:

• Spaghetti Pomodoro
• Rigatoni Arrabbiata
• Bucatini Carbonara
• Pappardelle Bolognese
• Prawn Linguini
• Gnocchi

The offer is also valid on two pizza dishes, including either a margherita or a pepperoni pizza. Only one free dish is available per eligible customer, and the offer is only valid on March 9, between 12pm and 9pm.

The new Jamie’s Italian will welcome the return of an array of fan-favourite dishes, including prawn linguine, the legendary meat planks and the cult-status Ravioli Fritti, alongside pasta made fresh every single day. As for brand new dishes, these include Cacio Pepe Arancini and Walnut Gnocchi, with hearty mains priced under £15.

The restaurant, located on 17–18 Irving Street, will seat 140 diners with terrace seating open in the warmer months, and promises to be “a true celebration of Italian cooking in the heart of London”.

And for those customers who still have one of the iconic blue-and-white Jamie’s Italian napkins – famously ‘borrowed’ in their thousands – or an old loyalty gold card, they can bring them back and swap them for a free bowl of pasta throughout March.
