Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in Birmingham. Emergency services were called at  Swanage Road, in Small Heath, Birmingham at 6.40pm yesterday, Saturday, December 20.

According to the police officials, man was declared dead at the scene. A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

West Midlands Police said in a statement: “We are in the early stages of our investigation, and a scene remains in place while we carry out urgent enquiries in the area to establish exactly what happened.

“We would urge anyone with any information to call 101, quoting incident number 3826 of 20 December, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
