Meghan Markle reveals her ‘favourite simple pleasures’ in new message | Royal | News
She then revealed her top three simple pleasures, which are a “simple gathering, creating a “moment, and “lingering in leisure”. Meghan then linked three of her brand’s products, which included the Garden Tea Bloom box, her 2021 Vintage Napa Valley Brut and the Pause and Pour set. The newsletter read: “Celebrate Spring’s arrival with our favourite simple pleasures:
“A Simple Gathering: A celebration doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful.
“A thoughtfully set table with High Camp Gardenias and warm conversation makes for a memorable meet-up.
“Create a Moment: Chill your brut well, pour slowly, and finish with fresh raspberries.
“Linger in Leisure: Hold that thought and savour each moment.”
It came after the Duchess and her husband, Prince Harry, released a lengthy and fiery statement last weekend, dismissing a number of bombshell claims made in Tom Bower’s forthcoming book.
Mr Bower’s latest offering, parts of which have been serialised by The Times magazine, makes a number of accusations against the Sussexes, their relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Invictus Games.
Following the publication of the serialised extracts of the new book, the Sussexes’ spokesperson released a statement, which read: “Mr Bower’s commentary has long crossed the line from criticism into fixation. This is someone who has publicly stated, ‘the monarchy in fact depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life,’ language that speaks for itself.
“He has made a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met. Those interested in facts will look elsewhere; those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him.”
However, the statement was criticised by royal watchers, with some saying it makes the Sussexes look “deeply bothered” and that Mr Bower had “hit a nerve”.
