Mike and Zara Tindall reveal secret holiday with rarely seen royals | Royal | News
Mike and Zara Tindall went on a winter break over the weekend as they headed to Austria for a pre-Christmas get-together with a number of rarely seen royals. The Tindalls appeared in a new video posted on social media by Mike, showcasing various moments from their family skiing trip.
Mike’s video featured his wife, Zara, and two of their children, Mia and Lena Tindall, as they took to the slopes. But they weren’t the only royals to appear in the video, which included a series of clips and pictures from the trip.
Zara’s brother, Peter Phillips, was also in attendance alongside his fiancée, Harriet Sperling, and his daughters, Savannah and Isla Phillips.
Mike said in the caption of the video, which was posted on Sunday: “Great family ski trip with a lot of mates, lots of laughs and lots of memories! Thanks to @kalumaski for organising and looking after us would fully recommend!”
The royals stayed at Chalet 47 during their pre-Christmas trip. Zara and Mike could be seen posing for pictures in their ski uniforms and having the best time.
The Tindalls are now likely back in England and will soon head to Sandringham to spend time with the rest of the Royal Family for Christmas.
In the New Year, they are expected to head to Australia, as they traditionally do every January, to attend the annual Magic Millions Carnival.
Last December, the couple opened up about their fondness for Australia, considering it a potential home if they ever decide to leave England.
Mike confessed: “We’ve often thought about it. If we weren’t so deeply rooted in England, Australia would be our top pick for a home.
“Australians have a great sense of humour, they like a bit of banter, they don’t mind having a go at each other, they don’t take each other too seriously… and I’m all about that.”
