Moment Princess Charlotte took the lead with poignant reminder for Prince George | Royal | News
Princess Charlotte may only be nine-years-old, but it is clear she is a stickler for royal protocol.
While the young princess always seems happy to be on the royal stage, the only daughter of Prince William and Princess Kate, both 42, also seems happy to be putting her brothers Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, six, in their place.
Over the years, Charlotte has made royal fans laugh as she has been seen bossing her brothers around, with one recent royal event showing the princess telling Prince Louis off for dancing on a balcony.
A few years before this, the princess was also seen scolding her younger brother for putting his hands in his mouth.
While most of the time the sweet sibling moments generate laughs for royal fans, there was one poignant moment between Charlotte and her older brother Prince George in 2022 that took fans by surprise.
At the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, the two siblings were standing side by side as the late Queen’s coffin was set to go past them.
In respect to Her Majesty, people were required to bow or curtsey as the hearse went past, with the princess quickly reminding George of this just as it was about to happen.
In a brief clip of the siblings, Charlotte, who turns 10 next May, could be seen saying: “You need to bow”.
In a resurfaced clip online, royal fans were quick to praise the princess and appreciate the “adorable” moment between the pair.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “I love how he listens to her like she knows how this works.”
Another said: “She is a little version of our beautiful The Princess Royal. She will be a power behind our King one day.”
A third said: “Such an adorable little ‘boss’. Love her!”
