Mum finds amazing £74 a night Center Parcs alternative | Travel News | Travel

A mother has sung the praises of a £74-per-night holiday park which she claims rivals Center Parcs. Nicole, who documents her adventures on TikTok as @nicoletravelandlife, loved Cumbria’s Wild Rose Holiday Park, declaring she felt as though she was “abroad”. The family occupied one of the site’s standard lodges, which boasted a hot tub and delivered “incredible views”.

The park features both a heated indoor swimming pool and a heated outdoor pool, whilst the family particularly enjoyed their time at the on-site Coast and Country Restaurant and bar, which provides entertainment, a compact soft play zone and complimentary children’s meals. The holiday destination, where Nicole’s family spent the weekend at £74 per night, also boasts a football pitch, an outdoor playground and, for older children, a games room equipped with a pool table and various other activities, reports Manchester Evening News.

Adults can enjoy exclusive swimming sessions between 6pm and 7pm.

The venue welcomes dogs, allowing the family to bring their pet, and provides a secure exercise area where four-legged friends can burn off energy.

Nicole’s footage, which also captures their boat trip on Lake Windermere, has got more than 20,000 likes on TikTok alongside hundreds of comments from families impressed by the establishment.

Describing the accommodation as “absolutely spotless” and “with absolutely everything that you need”, she concluded: “I would 100% recommend this holiday park for the perfect break away.”

She’s certainly not alone in her admiration for the destination. The Hoseasons website boasts an impressive 4.6 out of five rating, with guests describing their experience as “excellent” and vowing they will “definitely return”.

Gemma Brown, general manager at Hoseasons, said: “Wild Rose Holiday Park continues to be a hugely popular choice for families and couples seeking a scenic, great-value break in the UK.

“Its stunning setting on the edge of the Pennines, with easy access to both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, makes it a perfect base for exploring.

“It’s especially loved by those looking to escape the crowds and reconnect with nature – with Rutter Falls just five minutes away, where you can often spot red squirrels, deer, kingfishers, herons and more. Plus, Wild Rose Holiday Park’s heated indoor and outdoor pools are always a hit with families.”

Summer holiday availability remains limited, though those interested in securing a future getaway can make reservations through the Hoseasons website or by calling 0345 498 6060. Costs fluctuate according to the season.
