Leonardo DiCaprio has stolen the limelight in some of Hollywood’s biggest hits – from Titanic to Killers of the Flower Moon.
Just over a decade ago, the Tinseltown legend starred in The Wolf of Wall Street and wowed fans with arguably the greatest performance of his career.
DiCaprio took on the leading role of Jordan Belfort in Martin Scorcese’s modern classic about the mad, drug-addled life of the ex-white collar crook Jordan Belfort.
The film caused a stir on its 2013 release – but was largely loved by audiences and critics alike.
Wolf of Wall Street was a huge commercial success too, making $400m at the box office against its $100m budget.
But the film was robbed at the Oscars. It received five nominations – including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor for DiCaprio – but took no gold home on the night.
The Wolf of Wall Street also went home empty-handed at the BAFTAs, despite being nominated in four categories.
However, the film did win one huge accolade.
The film secured the Guinness World Record for the most instances of swearing in a movie, with the word “f***” used over 500 times.
Another far ruder four-word profanity is also uttered three times in the three-hour-long blockbuster.
