‘Perfect’ M&S dress with five-star rating is ‘so flattering’
Marks and Spencer shoppers have fallen in love with a ‘flattering’ and ‘elegant’ dress, hailing it as ‘absolutely perfect’. Every person who has already snapped up the frock has rated it five stars, showing it’s an abolsute winner.
The Finery London Polka Dot Midi Tea Dress from M&S costs £49 and comes in red and teal. It offers both style and versatility, as it would look gorgeous worn to daytime and evening events.
The dress comes in sizes eight to 24 and is a regular fit with a flattering silhouette and flowing skirt. It has cute puffed short sleeves adorned with ruffled cuffs.
The online-only dress has received many glowing reviews. One satisfied customer commented: “Pretty dress, sits very nicely on body, looks elegant and can be worn casually.” A second added: “Comfy but feels elegant.”
A third delighted buyer noted: “Lovely dress. Flattering cut for the fuller figure.” Someone else explained: “Tight just below your chest, however it enhances your body shape. I’m 5ft 10 and the dress was perfectly long on myself.”
One shopper left a tip with their review: “This is a really nice dress to wear when I put a belt on it, it makes it look even better.”
“This is a really pretty dress,” noted another M&S customer. “It fitted exactly as expected for a size 12, is a nice length (just below mid calf / shin) and the material is lovely. The sleeves are quite thick and a little unusual (and cover up those slightly saggy under arms). I have already machine washed and drip dried the dress without any problems, but it did need an iron (inside out) to look pristine again. I am very happy with my purchase and feel it was worth the cost.”
Someone else said: “I bought this for a Forties Weekend as wanted a Tea Dress look, the fit and style were spot on (size 14) but as I am only 5ft 4ins I had to shorten by 7 inches for it to look right for my height – it was certainly worth the effort. Absolutely perfect for that occasion.”
However, amidst the rave reviews for the Finery London Polka Dot Midi Tea Dress, one person noted a slight downside: “Slightly longer than I would like but it seems to be how a lot of dresses are at the moment.”
Another shopper admitted: “Nice dress, but did not suit me, returned item, material ok.” Fancy adding the polka dot dress to your wardrobe? Buy it here for £49.
