Police swarm Slough Iceland car park as woman found dead | UK | News
A woman was found dead in the car park of a supermarket in broad daylight, as people were shopping in the area. Emergency services were called to the area outside an Iceland store at approximately 2.30pm on Saturday, February 21, where a 42-year-old woman was sadly pronounced dead.
The tragic incident occured on Montrose Avenue in Slough, just metres away from the entrances of Iceland and other stores, including B&M. Thames Valley Police attended the scene and cordoned off a section of the car park, and a blue forensics tent was also set up, to allow officers to investigate the tragic death.
The force said on Sunday a file is being prepared for the coroner, adding her death is being treated as “unexplained”.
No formal identification of the woman has yet been released.
Officers were spotted in the area on Saturday evening, when a cordon was still in place and several police vehicles, including two vans, remained in the car park.
