Prince Harry has reportedly been left feeling “guilty” that Meghan Markle gave up her “dream life” – something that she is said to be missing.

Upon their engagement back in 2017, Meghan gave up on her actress dreams, with one source stating that Harry knew “how much she sacrificed” to tie the knot.

Speaking to OK!, the source said: “Meghan has made no secret of how much she misses her care-free life when she was an actress.

“While she’d never change what she has with Harry and the kids, there is a big part of her that she wishes she could just get her old life back.”

They added: “Harry often feels guilty for Meghan having to give up on her dream life and he knows how much she sacrificed to marry him and have a family with him so he will support her no matter what.

“She has quite a few work commitments coming up but this is just the beginning of Meghan’s big comeback and she’ll be doing things on her terms.”

Discussing her former acting career, the source said how much she “loved” portraying Rachel Zane on US drama Suits.

They added: “She loved being in Suits and all the opportunities it gave her – she’d get invited to all the exclusive events and get to hang out with Hollywood A-listers but there was so much less scrutiny and attention and there was no pressure on her.”

The source also claimed that Meghan has had a host of “offers” to welcome her back into her former field of acting. They said: “She feels the time is right to start looking at offers as she knows she’ll be criticised whatever she does so she can cope with backlash and wants to do what makes her happy.”

Aside from a potential acting career comeback, royal author Tom Bower recently told The Sun that fans could expect a Prince Harry-style memoir from the mother of two.

He said: “We’re still waiting for Meghan’s own autobiography, which I’m sure she’s penning – she’s a good writer, and it will be filled with vitriol and filled with lies.

“She will not tell the truth because she wants a sensational headline. That is the ultimate weapon she can deploy.”
