Princess Beatrice and Eugenie ‘have not abandoned’ Andrew | Royal | News
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have not abandoned their father, a family friend says, despite the fact recent reports suggest a divide in their relationship. Over the last few months, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has appeared in various Epstein files showing the extent of his friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
This does not indicate any wrongdoing and Andrew denies any accusations against him. Material in the files show Andrew’s friendship with Epstein even after Epstein’s conviction for child sex offences and some emails from Andrew appear mention Beatrice and Eugenie, with some even containing family photographs.
While it was reported that this was to the extent that the sisters were no longer talking to their father Andrew, this is now not believed to be the case.
“But everything is obviously very strained and hard.”
It is believed the sisters are also “overwhelmed” by the recent scandals involving their parents’ friendship with Epstein.
