Prince Harry’s pals claim he is fishing for an invitation to his family from King Charles to visit Sandringham in July. The Duke of Sussex’s friends reportedly say Harry wants to mend the rift with the Royal Family with a stay at the King’s private estate. But sources said to be close to the King told the Daily Mail “low trust” and “bitter experience” over leaks from the Sussexes’ team over the years have made it difficult to make any progress in mending ties.

A friend of the monarch told the same publication that if Harry truly wished to see his father, he would do well to encourage his supporters to allow such matters to be discussed privately, since low trust and bitter experience in this regard remains one of the principal barriers to progress.
