Prince William is said to be feeling uneasy about a rumoured documentary linked to Princess Diana‘s legacy proposed by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. RadarOnline reports claims the Duke of Sussex is mulling a programme to mark the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death in a car crash in Paris.

But reports suggest the Prince of Wales is deeply upset at the potential involvement of commercial production partners. An insider told the publication the Duchess of Sussex’s role behind the scenes also “struck a nerve”.

A source told the outlet: “He feels that allowing her to influence or derive any benefit from Diana’s legacy crosses a deeply personal boundary… He experiences it as a betrayal of his mother rather than a tribute.”
