Samsung issues countdown to claim free Galaxy S26 upgrade, act now or miss out
Samsung has finally lifted the lid on its next-generation flagship devices. The new Galaxy S26, bigger S26+ and ultimate S26 Ultra are all available now to pre-order, and there’s one big reason to consider taking the plunge. Head to Samsung’s website before March 10 and you’ll get a useful upgrade that offers double the storage for free.
That basically means you can grab the 512GB version of the Galaxy S26 and only pay the price of the 256GB model.
It’s a saving that’s worth £170, and it’s definitely worth considering if you have a device brimming with photos, videos and games and you are always running out of storage.
It is worth noting that prices for this new range of phones have risen this year with the S26 starting from £879. Howver, take advantage of this double-storage deal and you will actually save some money.
As a quick guide, last year’s standard S25 is available now for £799 but only comes with 128GB of storage. Boost that to 512GB, and you’ll pay £959, which is more than the current S26 offer.
So what’s new on these latest devices?
Although the S26 range looks pretty much identical to last year’s devices there are some upgrades, including a boost to processors and cameras.
The Ultra also now features a smart Privacy Display which stops prying eyes looking at what’s on the screen. This more premium device is also now thinner than before and features an S Pen for note-taking.
All of the S26 range are ready for the latest Galaxy AI upgrades and feature long battery life and fast charging.
