Sarah Ferguson humiliated as new book ‘pulped’ after she’s stripped of title | Royal | News

Thousands of copies of Sarah Ferguson’s new children’s book are being sent to a recycling centre after the former Duchess was stripped of her title, a royal source has claimed. A source has revealed that 10,000 copies of Sarah’s upcoming children’s book, Flora and Fern: Kindness Along The Way, are being “pulped”. It has previously been suggested that the book would be delayed following the latest scandal involving her and her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

However, a source has now confirmed that the book was not delayed, but pulped, and 10,000 copies were being sent to a recycling centre.  The book was originally scheduled for release in October but was later delayed until November 20 without explanation.

A source told the Daily Mail: “It’s an acknowledgement of the inevitable.

“No one is going to want to buy it.” The former Duchess of York was previously supposed to attend in-person signings and talks in local bookshops, but all engagements related to the book have been cancelled.

Neither Ferguson nor her publisher has commented. Ferguson has long been a children’s book author, having first released Budgie the Little Helicopter in 1994. She has also written memoirs and romantic adult fiction, publishing more than 50 titles to date.

The former Duchess became entangled in a scandal last month when an email published by the Mail on Sunday revealed she had written to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein after he had been released from prison. However, she had publicly distanced himself from him.

In the email, she apologised to Epstein for saying in an interview that her involvement with him was a “gigantic error of judgement”. A spokesperson for Ferguson has stated that she wrote the email because she was threatened by Epstein.
